Carbon LLC progress.
Within two last years there was made successful casing of a number wells in extreme complicate conditions with Carbon, LLC products, namely with ТО СКС Section Casing Accessories and ПДЦ Stage Collars.
With ТО СКС-245, 9 5/8” (O 245 mm) intermediate casings were successfully cemented in following wells:
• #100 of Sakhalin oil-gas-field, CJSC Devon, at 15092 feet (4600 m) depth in two sections.
• #3 of Zagoryanka gas-field, Cadogan Petroleum, at 16191 feet (4935 m) depth in three sections.
• #14 of Kobzevka oil-gas-field, Krestyschensky Drilling Department, at 16929 feet (5160 m) depth in three sections.
• #202 of Berezovka oil-gas-field, Shebelinka Drilling Department, at 15682 feet (4780 m) depth in three sections.
• #2 of Pirky gas-field, Cadogan Petroleum, at 15814 feet (4820 m) depth in three sections.
There was successfully cased with 5 1/2” x 6 5/8” (Ш 140x168 mm) production casing directed-horizontal well #156 of Yablunovka oil-gas-field at 11722 feet (3573 m) depth. ТО СКС-168 Set of Section Casing Accessories together with ПДЦ-140 Stage Collar were applied. Displacement of the well bottom is 932 feet (284 m). Inclination at final depth is 88°.
Within four years (since 2005 to 2008) in Okhtyrka Drilling Department of OSC Ukrnafta 41 well were successfully cased. The most part of the wells are directed (inclination 20° and more). Thus, due to features of rotational hanger, running tool was periodically rotated at excess slurry flushing out and waiting-on cement period to prevent running tools stuck.
To sum it up, the advantages of Carbon, LLC goods usage are evident.
Due to:
- non-stop process of cementing with ГЦ-200 Cementing Head,
- secure bump at the finish of displacement pumping and
- as the result having calculated height of shoe track,
- opening of circulating ports with running tool rotation without waiting for ball diving,
- other design innovations,
well casing time with Carbon, LLC appliances reduced at 18-20%.
