Description / Application

Cementing head ГЦ-200 is applied for cementing of lower and middle casing sections of all sizes with upper cementing plugs for all sizes of drill string, as well as ball, and allows at non stop cementing process to reciprocate and rotate drill string, including at plug launching. Thus, plug launch is controlled.

Cementing can be carried out through stand-pipe, drilling hose and kelly or through standard cementing manifold.

At cementing head can be lowered kelly length in the well of diameter not less 8 ½”, that in return allows to run casing section immediately to bottom. At that displacement has to be brought by separate manifold.

Specifications

Design

Consists of jointed Upper Body (2) and Lower Body. In the lower part of Lower Body (3) Rotary Ring (4) is embedded, on which Sleeve (1) is mounted. Rotary Ring (4) can be turned 360° with Detent Key. See the chart.

Operation

Upper Cementing Plug being inserted in Sleeve (1) and Rotary Ring (4) is set upright. In this position Cementing head is ready to work. Thus fluid flows in annular between Sleeve and Body. To launch Plug, Rotary Ring (4) has to be turned 90°, Sleeve (1) lowers to Ring’s inner part, annular gets close, Plug gets free and is pushed by fluid to drill-string.
